VANE is the Leader and Main Vocal of ECLIPSE 9, a man so composed that almost no one can tell what he is thinking.
To fans, he is the group's cold prince.
To the other two members, he is the one who will always stand in front of them when danger comes.
And to the supernatural world...
The name VANE means something more.
The name he uses in the present day is Lucien Seo.
A man of both Western European and East Asian ancestry, he was born when the Roman Empire was still flourishing.
Over the past 1,846 years, VANE has lived through the rise and fall of kingdoms, wars, and changes in religions, languages and the borders of the human world.
But no one knows what happened on the night he ceased to be human.
He did not choose immortality.
And Lucien Seo was not his first name.
His true birth name was left so far in the past that almost no one in the world still remembers it.
Although YEON has lived longer, VANE is the one CHA chose to lead ECLIPSE 9.
Not because he is the strongest.
But because no one in the group understands control as deeply as he does.
VANE spent centuries learning to control his hunger, his powers and himself.
He speaks little, never uses authority unnecessarily, and almost never raises his voice at the members.
But whenever something happens, he is usually the first to stand between danger and RANG and YEON.
VANE's voice is a Dramatic Tenor, with a soft, deep and resonant middle range that can rise gracefully into high notes.
His signature is a falsetto so light it feels like a whisper beside your ear.
It suits Dark Pop, R&B and ballads.
Fans sometimes joke:
“If VANE sings your name, you might forget to breathe for a moment.”
They may not realize how close those words are to the truth.
Blood Garnet
A silver necklace with a deep-red garnet pendant that VANE wears almost constantly.
No one in the group has ever seen him take it off.
And when someone asks where it came from, he usually answers only:
“From someone I don't want to forget.”

But the records of the period when he became a vampire have been erased from the Archive.

Because once, it wasn't.
RANG is the Rapper and Maknae of ECLIPSE 9.
The member who seems to take life most easily.
He likes teasing VANE.
Arguing with YEON.
Interrupting interviews.
And he often makes everyone forget...
That he has been alive for more than four centuries.
His real name is Rangsant Decharat.
He was born around 1599 in Siam during the late Ayutthaya period.
RANG was once an ordinary human.
He had a family.
A home.
A life that should have continued like anyone else's.
Until he turned nineteen.
One night, something happened that he cannot fully remember.
He should have died that night.
Instead, he woke again...
With something inhuman inside him.
From that day on, his body began to change whenever night fell.
And the world had a name for what he had become:
Krahang.
RANG has watched Thailand change throughout his life.
From Ayutthaya.
To Thonburi.
To Rattanakosin.
To present-day Bangkok.
Unlike YEON and VANE, who have grown distant from human ways of life, RANG has always tried to live among them.
He makes new friends.
Loses friends.
Starts a new life.
Changes his name.
Then starts again.
Perhaps that is why this 427-year-old still enjoys the little things more than anyone else in the group.
RANG is unquestionably the youngest member.
Even if “the youngest” in ECLIPSE 9 means a man more than four hundred years old.
YEON often calls him a child.
RANG hates it.
VANE rarely calls him that.
Yet he watches over him more closely than he should.
And RANG still does not know why.
RANG's voice is a Low-Mid Husky Rap.
Its slightly raspy texture and aggressive delivery are completely different from his playful personality offstage.

But what means more to him is a small metal amulet he has carried for hundreds of years.
The only thing he says about it is:

The oldest member remembers almost everything.

Kang Yeon-woo, or YEON,
Is the oldest member of ECLIPSE 9.
He has lived for more than three thousand years.
He has seen dynasties rise.
Seen them fall.
Seen cities change their names.
And seen generation after generation of humans vanish from the world.
But there is one period of his life that even YEON himself...
Cannot remember.
YEON was born before Korea existed in the form humans know today.
He is a Gumiho.
An ancient nine-tailed fox who has spent more than three thousand years learning to coexist with humans.
At first, humans feared him.
Then they began to tell stories about him.
Stories became legends.
And from a legend...
He became nothing more than a fairy tale.
YEON prefers it that way.
Because something humans believe does not exist
Usually has an easier life than something they hunt.
Thousands of years have given YEON a different view of the world from the other members.
Very little surprises him.
He never rushes.
He does not explain what he considers unnecessary.
And he has a special talent for irritating RANG without changing his expression in the slightest.
YEON understands almost every aspect of human behavior.
He knows how people lie.
How they fear.
And what they want.
But there is one thing he has never truly understood:
Why humans sacrifice what matters most to them for someone else.
YEON is the Main Dancer.
His movements emphasize fluidity, precision and a degree of bodily control that seems almost unnatural.
The staff once described it as:
“As if he isn't dancing under the same gravity as us.”
Vocally, he uses a Light Tenor / Breath Vocal.
It suits intros, pre-choruses and whisper parts that call for a mysterious atmosphere.

A silver pendant shaped like a fox's eye that YEON always wears.
He never lets anyone touch it.
Not even the other members.
Once, RANG tried to play with it.
YEON merely looked at his hand.
RANG withdrew it immediately.
MEMORY GAP DETECTED
Although YEON can recall events from thousands of years ago in detail,
C-ENTERTAINMENT's Archive has identified a vast gap in his memory.
That period coincides with one of the earliest records of
THE NINE VEILS.
YEON joined ECLIPSE 9 because he believes C-ENTERTAINMENT can restore those memories.
But no one yet knows that...

“The vessel of the Ninth Seal.”

To the public, CHA is the president of an entertainment company who almost never appears in the media.
There is no information about his family.
No educational history.
No photographs of him as a young man.
And no one even knows whether CHA is his real name.
But to the other side,
He has an older name:
Keeper of the Crossing.
CHA is a reaper.
A being whose duty is to preserve the balance between life and death.
He is not a killer.
He does not decide who deserves to live.
His duty is to arrive when someone's time has ended.
And guide them to the other side.
No one knows how long CHA has performed this duty.
Even YEON, who has lived for more than three thousand years, cannot determine his age.
In the human world, CHA looks like a Korean man around thirty-five to forty years old.
A simple suit.
A quiet voice.
Polite manners.
He almost never shows anger.
He does not need to raise his voice to silence a room.
Because sometimes...
The room falls silent on its own when he enters.
Some employees claim the clocks on the wall slow down when CHA is near.
But no one dares ask him about it.
CHA often carries a black-covered ledger.
No title.
No logo.
And no employee is permitted to open it.
Inside are the names of those who
Were born.
Died.
Should have died.
And
Never reached their own deaths.
Three names hold CHA's particular attention:
YEON.
VANE.
RANG.
The Nine Veils are causing the boundary between life and death to collapse.
But a reaper is bound by rules that cannot be broken.
The keeper of a gate cannot choose whether to open or close it.
So CHA cannot use his own powers to deal with the Nine Seals.
He needs
Moon.
Blood.
Spirit.
And an immense amount of Human Emotion.
So he did not build an army.
He did not create a cult.
He created...
A T-Pop group.
CHA told ECLIPSE 9 they must close the Nine Veils.
He did not lie.
But CHA has one habit:
He always tells the truth.
He simply never tells all of it.
And there is one truth he has never told the members.
If the Ninth Seal is completely closed...
RANG may not survive.

We create resonance.

Thousands of years ago, the First Eclipse fractured the boundary between the human and spirit worlds into the Nine Veils.
The Nine Seals were created to close those rifts.
But now the Seals' power is fading.
The most dangerous crossing is
Bangkok — The Ninth Crossroad.
So CHA began Project Eclipse.
Searching for three beings capable of creating
ECLIPSE RESONANCE.
YEON — Moon.
VANE — Blood.
RANG — Spirit.
But Resonance is incomplete without the final element:
